08.04.2009 | Competition on the Pronunciation of the French Language.
On April 8 At Western Junior school attached to Western University there was the competition on the pronunciation of the French language.
The main task of the studying of French on the first level it is developing of oralspeech and correcting of pronunciation helps to make clear the level of taking the language.
As the judge at the competition came the main teachers of Western University:
- Gulieva Samira
- Yagubova Sabina
- Kazimova Irada
In the programme there were included the poems of French poets Paul Eluard, A.Furnier, Marc Pinget, J.M.Goungeon and so on.
The pupils of VII R form began the competition with the song “Salut” of Joe Dassin. The students who took part in competiton were:
Allahyarov Huseyn, Babazade Altay, Hajieva Leman, Huseynov Orxan, Cafarova Fatima, Xaddad Mariya, Emchiev Renat from 5th class, Alizade Sona from VI class, Zamanbeyova Lala, Azimova Esmira, Aleskerova Niqora, Huseynova Fidan, Umudova Leyla from VII class, Mirzezade David from VIII class.
The first place took A.Huseyn, the second place took B.Altay, third place took X.Mariya from V class.
The IV place took D.Anastasiya and M.David.
After giving the prices of the competition the students showed us the composition including the parts of “Notre Dame de Paris” – “Belle” and Joe Dassin’s song “Et si tu n’existais pas”.
The head teacher of French department of Western University S.Gulieva wrote: “We’ve got the excellent impressions. It was a little surprising that the pupils of V-VI forms have such good pronunciation”. She wished them to do the best in their studying.
