Go is a game of the Gods.The game was created about 4 thousands years ago and was included into complete of the 7 compulsory skills of samurays. The I st Academy of Go was organized in Japan in 16 th century, but the Europeans heard about it only in the 19th century and since then the rules have been of the game unchanging. Now both in Japan and in Korea are counted about 10 mln players, in China is counted 30 mln of them. It is very interesting but computer can’t win even the weakest player.
Today Go is one of the many intellectual games, such as cheese, breadj and draghts, which is included into the Programme of the Olympic Games. The Ist World Sports games was held in Beijing from 3rd to19th October . The team of Azerbaijan participated there.
The Chineeze played in Veyt-si, the Korenian played Ba-duk, the Japaneeze played Go, but the Azerbaijanien playein Galagapi. All of these games have the same essence.
In the modern day the interest to Go game is increased and our students vizit a Go section . Vise-President of the Republic Go Federation Elchin Aliyev coachs them twice a weak. There is no age limit : the game is sutable even 5 years old kids.
