The competition “Azerbaijan – My Native Land” announced as far back as in December last year was continued on 12 March devoted to Novruz bayram. The competition included many districts of the Republic: Shaki, Zakataly, Guba, Nakhchivan, Lenkoran, Ismailly, Garabagh and the city of Baku. The pupils carried out a big research work on History, Geography, Ethnography, flora and fauna of separate regions of our vast country. They studied thoroughly the cuisine of the above mentioned districts and presented to the demanding judges some delicious things made with their own hands. Great attention was paid to the culture and life, music and dances, costumes and decoration of the place representing the chosen district.
The judges including the teachers on History, Geography, Literature and Biology as well as the pupils of senior classes awarded unamimously the first places to the 7R² and 8R forms, the second places to the 5R¹ and 5R² forms and the third place to the 7R¹ form. Aysel Eyyubova the 9R form, Elman Babayev, Farid Shukurov and David Mirzazade the 8R form pupils, Pery Aliyeva, Mariyam Mustafazade, Tural Farhadov, Azad Guliyev and Lala Zamanbekova the 7R² pupils, Fidan Husseynova, the 7R¹ pupil were awarded special diplomas for the active participation in the competition.
Leyla Husseynova, the 9R form pupil was awarded a diploma for the selfless work in the project. Olga Guskova, the 7R² form pupil was awarded a diploma as the best master of the ceremony.
